The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, sits down with All Things Africa founder Bisi Akins at EbonyLife Place London — an interview, then a round of Know Your Roots.
All Things Africa, the platform founded by Bisi Akins, welcomed the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, to EbonyLife Place London, the new events venue, for a conversation and a game. First, a sit-down interview with Bisi. Then a round of Know Your Roots, the All Things Africa quiz on African culture and history: Nigeria's film industry, where Amapiano began, what Ghana was called before independence in 1957, the Southern African philosophy of Ubuntu, and the city that hosted the 5th Pan-African Congress in 1945 (Manchester). From the day came a seven-minute interview film, a Know Your Roots reel for social, a teaser and a set of stills from the venue.
